Have you ever felt like giving up because the road ahead seems too long? Have you questioned whether God will bring you through? 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭: 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫—𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.


It is easy to get excited when a new project begins. The thrill of a fresh start, the vision of what could be, the energy of taking the first step—it fills us with hope. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝? 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬—𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝, 𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞?


𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝. And this is where you need to remember this powerful truth: 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦; 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. The dreams God placed in your heart, the callings He’s spoken over your life, the promises He’s given you—they are not forgotten. He is still working, even when you don’t see it. He is still building, even when the progress seems slow.

Paul wrote to the Philippians with confidence that God, who began a good work in them, would bring it to completion. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲. You may not understand the process, and you may not feel like you are making progress, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐢𝐭.

He doesn’t abandon what He starts. He doesn’t give up on you when you fall short. His grace is sufficient to carry you through every obstacle, every delay, every setback. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.


So 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 give up on your calling. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 abandon the vision. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 stop praying, believing, and pressing forward. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧.

Father, thank You for being faithful to complete what You have started in my life. Help me to trust You in the waiting, to persevere in faith, and to believe that Your timing is perfect.
